“Tomorrow Will Be A Good Day”
23 March on the ‘Day of Reflection’, I collected 28 gloriously healthy rose plants from @chestnut_nursery

Purchased with the @nhscharitiestogether welfare grant to @uhd_nhs Poole A&E Dept raised by the @captainsirtom Foundation; 28 of team decided that as Captain Sir Tom Moore raised funds by walking 100 laps of his garden; that a rose plant seemed a poignant reminder of his achievement and symbol of hope. It also seemed apt that we purchased from a local charity, supporting the well-being of people enduring mental illness.

‘Thank You’ to the Foundation and to those that supported this amazing gentleman; it’s greatly appreciated and to the Chestnut Nursery for providing us with beautiful rose plants. It’s been a tough year for us all ... but tomorrow will be a good day and we will plant roses x

HA-PPE Valentine’s.! 🍓
Sharing the LOVE of food in A&E today, a surprise delivery of wholesome veggie food, cakes and choc’s, made, gifted and delivered by local businesses. This was left, when I went into the staff room with more stashed away for the night shift and delivered to ward staff.

I went for the pretty tasty cup cake and Rick Steins veggie lasagne. Both YUM.!

Virtual HUG to all local businesses involved and ED nurses who helped distribute on their day off. Much appreciated by ALL in A&E and frontline colleagues. Thank You x
